Blacks in Cybersecurity
Blacks In Cybersecurity has its roots in the greater Hacker and Maker community. Blacks In Cybersecurity (BIC) is the premier conference series, meetup group, and organization (community) spearheading the way to solving the disparity between the Black community and Cybersecurity knowledge and resources.
BIC was founded in 2018 and has made historical strides in creating and holding space for Black people in Cybersecurity; workshops, programs, initiatives, conferences, iconography, Capture The Flag competitions, networking events, training programs, certifications and more.
BIC seeks to remain a grassroots-based organization of multiple skill levels and ages within the Black community.
